We call it "Job Security". :D

The point in time where he thought this would be a good idea is where any amount of common sense and reasoning he had left fell out of his ###. The roman candle was just a bonus.:D

That poor tarp was destined for a rough life from the first day it was unrolled. May it finally RIP (and I got a really nice lightweight 20x24 out of its remains).

Well, I got an Ohio OS/OW provision mandated reset from noon Wednesday till 30 min before sunrise this morning. And today, despite my best efforts I came up 37 miles short of the Quebec border where I could have run till noon tomorrow and at least got to the customer in the morning however NY, with their awesome routing combined with everyone wanting to drive 35 in a 55 says ne ne, you sir will sit till Monday in the amazing and happening town of Burke, NY.

And when I say everyone was driving like a Californian that had been partaking in some of the Finest Maui Gold, that included the Long Haul conestoga from Minnesota who hit a top speed of 43 in the 74 miles I was stuck behind him along with the 3000 p#ss#d off 4 wheelers.

Yeah, had dreams and visions of visiting some friends in Montreal this weekend because I already knew I wasn't going to be able to deliver till Monday. However as soon as I turned east on NY 104 at Rockford and it dropped to 2 lane, I gave up that dream. 11 coming across from Watertown wasn't as bad but the damage had already been done.
