    It handles the heavy loads like a champ, but very slow to react to turning when backing. He said it made him look and feel like a rookie all over again after being out here 28 years! It also has a few quirks, so he named her Christine.

    Probably why she sucks down fuel.
    Would be nice to have a bit more power on the climbs and under heavy loads, but ya, I get the efficiencies of low power & high(er) mileage.

    Low power isn’t always more economical and efficient. If you’re running wide open under full load climbing a hill for a longer period of time, you get worse fuel economy with that allegedly more economical engine.
