It's not? Maybe I'm thinking of normal ups. Is it at least good and cheap?

That's whats I wanted to do also. I have no accidents or anything. I have a clean record with 3.5 years experience. Im 26 so I figured get seniority while I'm younger.

Their master contract that was just ratified has monthly premium rates listed in it. Upsf is separate from parcel.

You being 26 is great, consider FXF. I think the long term at your age would be far more fruitful.

That's kind of disappointing. I would love to work there as long as it's consistent. And I'm getting decent hours

Tough call for sure. Either way, at the end of the day you’re just picking what color truck to drive in LTL (as long as you stay away from YRC/USF and Central lol)

Lol yea Central is always hiring here. I thought about it but I don't think I'm that desperate (yet) ha. But I appreciate the information. Their having a hiring fair and I'm gonna attend. That awesome hourly rate sounds good but like I just Seen I heard the city drivers are highly scrutinized.

Steer clear of Central, for sure. But unless you have your heart set on Saia, check out all the LTLs in the area. R&L has been mentioned already, and Estes and ODFL have barns there too.

Estes is like 10 minutes from my house but their only hiring for the otr regional. And I would do linehaul but I can be gone all week. I have a 2 and a half year old and we would love more kids so I'd like to be around

I believe they have two options with health insurance. One that is free and one with weekly premiums that is way better.

    McUzi and Texas_hwy_287 Thank this.
