    Me too. Had a Schwinn Lemon Peeler back around '73-'74, think they're going for around $2000 nowadays. Kid down the street wanted to borrow mine to show his dad, took it home and painted it grey.

    Of course you don't know what you've got at the time but me and my brother ended up with brand new 10 spd's outta the deal, we put a mess of miles on em before we ended up moving.

    Mine was Firestone Red with a slick rear wheel — could ride a wheelie for blocks— bought it with Green Stamps

    Yes it's impossible to weld that metton plastic. So when that chunk wouldn't stay in I replaced it with aluminum.

    I think the ECM died. It's just like someone shut the key off. Can't find any bad spots in the wiring and the fuses are still good. I can't do anything on the side of the road at this point so I'm waiting on a hook to carry me to Kenworth in Amarillo.
