I am torn between buying a portable AC unit or trying out a ductless system. I'm hoping that there are some other drivers that have tried this and could give me some advice. From what I can see I can get a 9000 BTU unit and it runs about a thousand Watts of which I would get a predator 3500 watt generator to run it. I was figuring that I could probably just drill some holes in the cab up into the storage area under my bed to run the lines and attach the air unit to the plastic trim peace under my bed where my vent is for my webasto heater. Just a theory any advice is appreciated.

I've been thinking the same thing.
The only thing I see bad is that all but one uses copper lines that are 25 ft long. What do you do with the extra line.. you can't cut them.! Also how long will the flexible copper lines hold up to all the bounces..?
Walmart has one that I've been looking at "Rollicool" 10,000 btu. It's a portable unit with 10 ft rubber lines. Less extra line to hide and I think the rubber line will hold up better...
Just my thoughts -
