Dude. You live like a mile from the sun. What do you expect. I can’t believe it’s only 118°

Good to know that what ever kills you, at least you’ll have a smile on your face.

No they dont have to stop at RR crossing like hazmat... Not sure what he was up to... But he waved everyone else past when the train moved. Maybe he was completeinh a 30 min break... But I think livestock haulers are exempt from that.

    That was absolutely spot on.

It's the exact opposite of needing a problem. You know the kind of folks that need to one up each other with how bad they got it?

About 20 years ago my best friend had a successful business, but he was stressed out. He described his days as going from crisis to crisis. After further discussion it turned out, with rare exception, each of those crisis situations really had nothing at all to do with him or with the success or failure of the business.

I turned him on The One Minute Manager, a popular short book about how to "just say no!" when it comes to participating in a "crisis". The essence of the book is this: if an employee comes to you with a problem, you listen for one minute. Then you say, "Great, let's meet tomorrow at 11:00 am so you can tell me how you solved it!"

He read the book that Friday night. On Monday morning he handed out copies of the book to all eight employees. He called a meeting for the next morning to discuss the book and how it would change how they worked with each other.

The first couple of weeks there was an adjusting period. It's hard to give up wanting to #####. It's hard to give up dropping whatever important thing you are doing to play the savior for some minor problem.

Then it got better. Way way waaaayyyy better. Employees started stepping up. Solving problems. Making policy. Getting new business and growing their existing markets. Paul became more relaxed. He even took a month vacation and came back to a business that was humming.

It's a remarkably simple way of looking at life.

    "Good"!

"Tell me how you solved it"!

Lol... No those are from running nights... I was to lazy to wash the windshield today.

But speaking of bugs... What the hell kind of bug is it in the Midwest that hits the windshield like a rock and leaves a splat nearly the breadth of a mans hand???!!! Maybe @tucker knows?
