Performance 3406E head gasket solution ??

    I’m having the same issue with the head gasket with the IVA’s backed out I blew the head gasket about 6 months ago and did an entire overhaul with the accert piston packs(sdp motor) and now it’s blown again. Is it just better to keep the IVA’s active so there isn’t so much cylinder pressure?

    If you deleted the vva's and stayed with the 18:1 acert pistons with a (tune) or even stock then yes you are going to have headgasket issues. Not if, but when it happens ! Either re activate the vva's or get lower comp pistons.

    My turbos are out so just wondering If I can convert to a ingle without disabling vvas.
