Funny you brought this up and I get it. I had 2 guys today tell me....."don't call me sir, I work for a livin"It's always been kind of a military thing, that saying, but I hate it.
I always call people sir, ma'am, regardless of their age, just because of the way I was raised or whatever, I feel I'm just being courteous and respectful. Nothing intended to imply something about ones age or any other motive. Shoot, even my 13 yr old son will hollar at me and I'll respond "yes sir", lol.
Have a good evening Sir![]()

In my lifetime of trucking I have never moved a heritage building. Went to look at a potential job moving a building today. Would be moving a half at a time, its a historic building, going to a new historic site. It is 24 feet by 28 feet. They plan to cut it in half down the peak, so 24 by 14 if i get the job to move it. Not a big deal, just a first for me to move a heritage building. Then move an old fire wagon, the type pulled by horses to a fire. Should be interesting to tie down with breaking anything if I do get the job.
