I have an LGCU-500 that refused to link with the Blue Parrot.Customer Service told me to return it.

    5 days later . . . . .
The Cobra unit was returned this am,its junk.
Anyone use the Motor Trend* units found in Pilots ?

    The Search continues . . . . . :biggrin_25511:

I'm going out on a limb here by stating that your phone is more than likely hosed.

I've had a bad phone that wouldn't work properly with any Blue Tooth devise. But I've never heard of anyone else having that issue.

If there's a first time, it stands to reason there will be a second.

Connecting via Blooth Tooth is reliant on both units. Not just the headset.

I understand what your saying, but the LG CU500
was "SO GOOD" AT&T dropped it over the Razor.
Better profits from pushing the Moto line.

The next model out was a CU 515 which was a cheesy POS just like the Razor(still is)
My phone is dated but well cared for.I just purchased a new OEM battery for it and its talk time has returned to new. Otherwise the phone has no issues and performs like it did when new 2 years ago.

OK so I returned the Cobra headset and rolled on to the next Pilot*
Newest acquisition is the Motor Trend MT-4000
Very nice unit, very similar to the Blue Parrot*
Volume and clarity are Top Shelf with this headset,set-up was a breeze and I'm looking forward to it being a reliable item.
At $129 it #### well better BE :biggrin_25525:

    I don't see why it wouldn't.

Just ask someone with a BP to let you check it out. That's what sold me on one. Someone let me check it on my phone.

It only takes a couple of minutes.

I don't think headsets and phones have compatibility lists per se. Bluetooth in general adheres to a standard, like 2.0 or something and they all work together if made in the last 4 or 5 years. Keeps things simple. Like USB... has it or it doesn't.

That's what I thought. BP doesn't list AT&T on their compatbility list. But I don't see what the provider has to do with BT. Thanks for your input.
