As the great HP once said... “I’m out here to work not #### around in a bunk.”

We had three stops to kick off today and 650 miles to cover... it got done :)

Imagine what I could accomplish with a left lane truck and some paper logs.

But but but think of the children Stwik!

@shogun . On a 5.3 will a cold air intake really make any difference? I think it looks cleaner with one just deciding how expensive I want to go.

For what a cold air intake costs, I’d keep the money and go with a mail order tune from someone like Frost, Nelson or Blackbear. They range in price from $150-$300 for stock motors and they can get you better mpg and Hp/torque easily. A set of cheap eBay headers will work too for $150 -$200 too. These motors respond well to modifications.

Just get a k and n filter and oil it/ clean it and keep the air box.

Just don't go through mud puddle with a cold air intake. No protection from sucking water into the intake. Water in the intake make engine go boom.
