Even in our line of work there’s always a “rat lying in wait”.Obviously someone dropped the dime on this guy and it obviously got back to the head honchos in Mondovi. Even though it’s been known for YEARS that the company monitors social media,So that guy should’ve seen this coming!

 

rats are in every occupation.

union, non-union, private, corporations, civil service, etc,etc...

find the rats, exterminate them.

 

So are hideously inept drivers who make the rat's job much much easier...

 

How many letters has he sent out thanking good drivers for their service ? Or does he only have time to tell people what pieces of #### they are ?

 

Actually the company does send out awards for years of service when the employee’s anniversary date rolls around.

Not necessarily but how many companies nowadays even acknowledge your 1st or 2nd year of service,let alone other years?

 

Just about all reputable companies... Including the megas . I honestly entertained this company if I was to come back out otr or regional, as they're hiring in my area. My record is quite clean. But I found this story somewhat disturbing. People are people. Mistakes happen. No one is flawless . I entertain both sides of this situation. But sending personal letters telling people who have had an incident what a shame they are does no good for anyone. That's just my opinion

 

I almost ? That randy did this even tho his is a bona fide septic tank dweller .
I know I'd have better things to do with my time if I had his cash .
Last I heard he lives on a mountain in Colorado and his health isnt very good .

 

Well it depends, we don’t know the actual circumstances because as I stated before, the OP hasn’t come back to substantiate the claim. And you got a remember, when we’re driving these trucks we’ being trusted with the machine that has a substantial dollar value. We’re not talking about a Toyota Corolla here (and even those aren’t cheap anymore). And not all of the megas recognize years of service-I didn’t get anything from Western Express when I completed my first year. At least this company acknowledges it.
