So I’ve had my class b since July of 16. Was in a accident March of 2018 but was found not at fault & case was dismissed but shows on my driving record. First question is why? Seems to hurt me whenever I’m looked at by a employer or feels like it does! Second question, got a speeding ticket 20 over the limit but Judge didn’t get me for reckless and doesn’t show up as such on my record but still lost 6 points. So I’m minus 1 now. Driving school not being a option to get points back is it possible to surrender my CDL go to driving school then go for my license again?

CSA 2010? They record all that junk even if it's not your fault. You were involved in an accident, and that's it.

It will be there, but I wouldn't worry about it.

Have you looked at your MVR? they may be seeing something related to the 20mph over. Careless or reckless driving?

All you gotta do is wait 3 years and all of that falls off. If you have a job, stay there and stay out of trouble. That 20 mph is a killer though

I thought over 15 was considered reckless driving by most companies? Although they’ll overlook it after a certain amount of years?

I have seen my MVR & reckless or careless is not mentioned on it. Just speeding ticket at 20 over.

Did you hire representation/layer? they usually screw you if you don't.

Speeding 20 over is reckless. At least most companies see it that way.
Best bet is to slow down and wait until it falls off in 3-5 years.

I mean....it really isnt over for you. You can still get class As. Western Express hired me and I had a ticket for 17 mph over. CSA 2010 wasn't around then. It's all whether a carrier's insurance will take you or not. Covenant Transport, Swift, and Star (out of business in Morton, IL) would have taken me. You may have to take a job to get experience. It may not be the cream of the crop according to some people, but the companies I mentioned are reputable companies, and they count as experience.
