401K. The usual, except it's not an "opt in" policy - it's "opt out." Unless you tell HR "no way," you're automatically signed up for it as soon as you are eligible.

So... let me see if i have this right about prime ( this is my conclusion about them after reading many post) Please tell me if i have anything wrong or misunderstood! Prime is a good co to train with & drive for. Prime does not leave any driver sitting long ( 1 Day max) You constantly go go go unless u request time off ( which is easy to get as long as you let them know in advance) As long as you are honest about everything & they see that u are trying & u want to be there they will work with you You seem to always know where your next stop is before you get to your first stop. Did i leave anything out?

billsgirl Thanks this. -
I'm scheduled to come down to Springfield, MO for the June 10 class, however i will be arriving early midday on the 9th. I have a question or 2 concerning some things "U2" spoke of.
First off I have already obtained my "CDL" via another school here in Ohio & i have since then as i stated earlier been "APPROVED" via a Prime recruiter to come down & pursue my opportunity as a company driver. The question i have is do i having already obtained my CDL have to go thru the same process as a trainee going for his license, testing etc all over again to a certain extent?
What am i looking at in terms of testing, paperwork etc. before i head out w/ my trainer? As i stated I'm coming down to pursue my opportunity w/ the company & I'm just looking for a lil' info concerning my journey while there on campus so to speak before i leave out.
I'm sure this has been covered repeatedly & i hate to rub salt in an open wound but this forum is huge & has entirely too much info to browse thru in 1 sitting, lol. Thank you very much in advance & i look forward to hearing back from y'all.Last edited: Jun 2, 2009

looks like im already going home. I did my physical today and my BP ended up being 160/104. I wasnt going to pay them the 100 bucks and then lose tomorrow when they check it again and it be the same. So im going to wait a month and try it again after i goto the doctor.

I will hit him up in the meantime and see if he can offer up some advice... let me know. -
Thats what they told me today is go home and get on some meds and get my bp checked for once a week for 4 weeks and it turn out good then come back. So i guess thats what im going to do. -
I defer to your recruiter...
If you are a CDL School grad with no experiance count yourself lucky... they seem to change the hiring criteria weekly... sometimes they take grads sometimes they dont... guys come on here with your level of training and are turned away all the time... some are accepted.
BTW- Im sorry you dont feel like skimming the thread... maybe if I was a recruiter I would feel like repeating myself -
This sucks though because ive been sitting up here at the millennium building for the past 4/5 hours waiting for me to be able to sit at the greyhound stop around 5 this evening
