Yah I've been at some Pilots and had great speeds and signals, other times some Pilots dont even have it, Im looking at you Montana! Generally its just the places that have Pilot fuel, and not the building itself(you know Conoco or whatever)
I paid for 31 days and used maybe 4 days? Just dont get to them as often as I thought
Is Pilot's WiFi fast enough to watch Hulu?

Only actual Travel Centers at the pilot actually have WiFi. Do you as a consumer feel that a page on the portal where you sign in showing speed at that location would be beneficial?

I'm at the Pilot in Denver this weekend and same story, I bought the 24 hour package because I'm going to be here all weekend. I'm getting slow speed AND interrupted service. I got booted from the service after 3 hours and had to log in again in the middle of trying to watch something. I'm noticing that it seems to interrupt when you stream, not so much when you browse. Is it possible that the wandering WiFi throttles accounts that stream? I read through the terms of service to check and see if there was a limit on the bandwidth and there is no such limit in the TOS contract. There was a really interesting and not even remotely legal term however:
"You agree that any dispute between you and WANDERING WIFI that arises as a result of your use of this Service shall at WANDERING WIFI's sole option be brought exclusively in the State or Federal court in Nevada."
Essentially this means you cannot even bring a lawsuit against them if you should feel the need unless they agree that you should sue them. There isn't a states attorney in the land that would let this fly. Of course I'm not sure why anyone would sue over $5. I'm just hoping to find some good Pilots for internet. 0 for 2 so far, and I had high hopes for a major city like Denver. -
I think having a working internet connection before selling your service would be pretty beneficial. You shouldn't hand out numbers for customers to call support and then hang up on them when they call either. That's the last time I ever pay for this service. Enjoy the $5. -
We do not throttle any speeds nor limit connections. We know that a lot of drivers like to stream videos while on the road and do our best to make sure you all get to do so.
The speed at the Pilot in Denver is DSL quality. One issue we are running in to while providing no caps is that some drivers are abusing that by downloading torrents. This slows the network down for everyone and can cause the issues you were experiencing. We are working towards a resolution that does not impact the drivers that are using the service legally. We have implemented a program which blocks only illegal filesharing and P2P websites. All legal venues are open and usebale. We do not want to go the round of caps like some other wireless companies. While I can understand why they do that, the streaming of legal HD video and Netflix could max out an account pretty fast. That is not something we want to limit at this time.
Hopefully this will curb the downloading and open the networks for you all.
Well I do apologize you have had some issues. I can assure you it is not policy to hang up on users and invite you to PM me with your account details if you would like me to take a look at it and look into a refund for you. We do not want you to have to pay for service you can not use. -

I too have signed up for the Pilot Wifi and 98% of the time I cant seem to get a website moving at all. I attend to let it run out as I only purchased a month. Right now I am sitting in the TA truck stop and just signed up on the Idle Air wifi and it seems to be working very well/very fast. I wanted Pilot because the company I work for conducts most of its business through Pilot which is where I would take my showers and has betted coffee than most truck stops. I figure generally where ever theres a Pilot for the most part theres a TA. I was signed up through Flying J but that gets old real quick and theres not too many of those around when ever you need to stop for the night.
