The OP asked "Which epa engine model is allowed in California?"
You replied "2010 and idle all you want"
Engines prior to 2010 are still allowed in California, you should know you have one.
Any truck with a clean idle sticker (meaning it meets low nox standards) can idle indefinitely. My 2008 Cascadia, with an EPA 2007 DD-15 had the sticker. That truck would still be allowed in California, I think until the end of 2023 and could idle at will. The Lawson CTA lawsuit doesn't have any effect on EPA 07 or newer, but could affect how much longer your DPF retrofit is compliant

So a 2007 can enter California? Or a 2006? Yes I read the information but clear to me

I think it's 07 and newer.
Don't know when that changes thoughMidwest Trucker Thanks this. -
I’m pretty sure your good with a 07 engine with that year emissions until 2023. 2006 engine requires the retrofit DPF and is good only until 2022 according to CARB site.

Thanks everyone.
I thought 2010 wasn’t allowed so that’s good to know it is. I thought 2007 already wasn’t allowed.
Idle doesn’t seem to be a problem if you have that little decal on your door.RunningAces and Diesel Dave Thank this. -
