Even though my w9 has the same cab and sleeper as my girlfriends t660, mine feels double the size with the passenger seat removed.

I put down one of those huge 3’ round dog beds for Moose.

I'm surprised the threshold went back down, or is that also new?
What is that insulation you put down under the sun floor?
Surprised you didn't put down electric heat strips on top of the sub floor. Hard wood even laminate is cold to wake up to in the winter. Lol

I've been thinking a 60/40 bench seat in front instead of buckets may have some advantages for some.

It's not luxorious it just better than the black interior on most trucks.
Look at old truck interiors. Real, wood, real leather, real metal, and button tuck, or diomond pleat fabric.

I have an 03 fld. Best thing you can do is rip out all the panels on the walls and go to home depot and get some spray foam insulation.
Next thing you do is order a 12in thick memory foam from amazon and take a knife to it to make it fit. Youll sleep better and longer making your life much better

When I first pulled out the passenger seat I made due with a heavy duty folding outdoor chair. Graduated to the swivel gaming chair and kept the folding chair for outdoor sitting while getting unloaded in hot dairies

Down sized and ditched the folding chair, from there on I would just unload my swivel chair and my folding table. Fellow drivers look at me
Ike I lost my mind, but I think it's a little bit of envy.

Getting ready to rip apart my 72 inch sleeper in my 97 International and build it out the way I want.

Been watching a Lot of YouTube videos on van life conversions since I am building out my 2003 Chevrolet Explorer hitop conversion van also.

I found a lot of good ideas that would be applicable to a semi buildout as I weeded through the videos.

I used to work building custom sport fishing boats many years ago so have some background.

You have a link for that mattress you bought off amazon? I need one I can custom cut.

I am going to build my bed so it folds up and there is a dinette under it like the Volvo .

I want my mattress only 18 inches at the feet and 48 at my head , used to sleeping in a vee- berth in a boat and tired of not being able to spread out my arms in my previous 36 inch semi bunk.

    Rideandrepair and KB3MMX Thank this.
