Doesn't Central Refigerated run out of SLC too? I'd go with them before I went with CRE.

Not really an option for me given some credit issues.

In any case, Swift called today, and I have to return the call tomorrow. I was expecting to have to wait longer lol.

One of the Swift schools (I don't know which one, but I suspect it was one in Ohio) was busted by the state of Ohio for running a diploma mill. Many of the drivers they passed about a year ago had to retest at a different state certifided test center.

I know this to be a fact as many of the retests was being conducted by the Roadmaster center that I was a student at. Some of them failed even though they had been on the road for a year.

I am not implying that other Shift training centers are doing this.

Search and find a school with a good reputation. You might have to travel but if you have nothing to tie you down then it would work. My brother went to school in Arkansas and drove for USA until they cut his miles and he quit. Don't remember him saying anything bad about the school or USA except that they cut his miles after he quit being a trainer.
