do they have GPS for truckers that will tell you if theres bridges under 13'6 and will avoid streets too small for a truck to go through?

I personally use google maps because it can often provide a street level view as if you are there on the road. They also have very good street maps and satellite pics that you can often zoom in on fairly well. Then again, I don't use it for driving either.
Might also want to consider downloading microsoft streets and trips. Pretty neat program. With that, you can create routes that have specific stops and the like. For example, Im using it to figure out the mileage for my route when I team up and I use various variations to determine the best route, shortest route...etc.bullhaulerswife Thanks this. -
Thanks for the info ziggy....

Yeah, we prefer Microsoft streets and trips too. Google isn't always accurate. I sent hubby to a bunch of medical complexes one time in Joplin, because google had it wrong.

So i take it microsoft is the hands down winner...thanks for the info guys.

If i understand it correctly... microsoft streets and trips works with truck stop simultaneously?
-
Yep you load truck stop plus into microsoft streets and trips, then it will show every truckstop, walmart, weight station, and rest areas. Its nice cause you can see every truck stop thats coming up and see which side of the road its on and what not. Its a nice additions to streets and trips, and thats the only gps i've ever used and loved.
