    What year is engine?
    How many miles?
If it's at 1 million it needs rebuild.
Max oil interval recommended by Detroit when they made series 60 was 15000 miles.
Keep running a loose series 60 and you risk punching a rod through block.
Proper oil pressure on an rebuilt series 60 is 40psi low idle 75psi driving. Or about that when hot.

I wish to clairify the forgotten detail of changes and replacing OF engine oil in Detriot at 15K, all for it. Have at it. Change the oil, get old sample tested.

I was thinking you are standing there fueling with three jugs of oil once or twice a month pouring into it.

    Rideandrepair and Wajid8705 Thank this.

    75psi driving?

Mine never ran higher than 48-50 driving, operating at normal engine temp.

Mine has new bearings and when it is cold it runs that high. Warm and it's closer to 60.

Yes, that's what Detroit dealer told me that normal to add that much of oil.
As far the smoke he said its 2002, older truck, so it will smoke.
They didn't have the system that prints out charts from computer. Guy did the reading and fill them on to the paper.

    Rideandrepair and x1Heavy Thank this.
