Keep running a loose series 60 and you risk punching a rod through block.
Proper oil pressure on an rebuilt series 60 is 40psi low idle 75psi driving. Or about that when hot.
Do I need overhaul? Detroit 60 series 12.7

Mine has new bearings and when it is cold it runs that high. Warm and it's closer to 60.

As far the smoke he said its 2002, older truck, so it will smoke.
