I disagree, 11r22.5 and 3.73 with a 10 is about right. Just because they tell you to run it lower rpm, dont mean you need too. I have a the plan B truck at 625/2250tq, 13 speed 3.42 on lp22.5. Drive it like a big cam. 6mpg on hopper, 6.5-6.8 on flat driven eazy, haul heavy. I won't lug any engine.

 

What is the horsepower rating as it is?

 

Here are the dies I use with the bolt holes in the table.

This is the setup for the cable/hose hangers I made for the blade trailer.

I used a blacksmith scrolling fork to form these. A lot of smiths forge theirs from 1 piece, I just threw mine together because I was in a hurry. It's 1/2 x 3/4 inch solid stock.

This is one I made many years ago for some 1" round stock I was scrolling. I've since lost the pics for that job (digital camera before camera phone era).

It's 3/4 x 1-1/4 inch solid square.

I've got too much other stuff to do before then but just wanted to know what could be possible without turning a wrench. With that gear and tire I feel like it wont be a big deal at the current power setting .

 

Looks like one heavy duty table. Nice and big. Probably weighs, what, a half a ton?

And you got enough clamps to hold that hairpiece on in that Kansas wind.

 

370/435 @ 1800

 

The guy that owned the speed shop in Rockville, MD had a station wagon he swapped a hot 5.0 a built C4 and a 9 inch. Into. Was a cool family truckster.

 

So alot of 435hp premium engines have every part that a 525 does, just different program. Not all, but alot. If it can go to 525 per cpl you have the best factory parts. That includes a HT60 Holset good for 700hp. Now do not go to Cummins for the 525, and some will do a 535 program. It's a lo-nox and you will be less then pleased.

 

Pretty much how I run, I dont usually run below 1400. I just always have, paccar, cat, Cummins doesnt matter. Run the high side of the rpm range. Might bite me in the ### one day. I guess we will find out.

 

When I had the boxes and rear skirt (1/4" tread plate) on it, it was a shade over 800 lbs before tools, torch and welder.

And there's a few more clamps "permanently" attached to various machines. One can never have too many clamps!!
