What is expected by USA at orientations? Do they expect u to pass any skills or road tests and how strict are their expectations. Any input would be appreciated. I just graduated from C1 school in Fort worth, tx.

Do you have a CDL already? If not then they will expect you to pass the written test and the driving test. Strict depends on how YOU define it. Do you plan on goofing around or not paying attention while you are there? It's a class just like in public school. You are there to learn and they are there to teach.

You will be going out with a trainer for two weeks and then with another trainer for an additional three weeks of team driving. Good luck with USA, they are the worst of the worst. Drove their trashy trucks for 14 months and now drive for one of the best companies in the business, Marten Transport.

9 years experience, and just graduated from school, you must be very stealthy going through weigh stations.

I'm just a curious guy who enjoys pointing out contradictions. Please explain how this one occurred.

    Good Luck anyway.

First you will take a road test. it's not that hard. Next you will take a physical and a drug screen. Then you will sit through three days of orientaion. Then on the last day you will find out if you passed your background check and drug screen. If you did they will find you trainer. That's about it. If at any time during orientation they find something on your DAC or criminal check they don't like they will send you home. So just make sure you are up front with them before you go.

I have heard they have a daunting obstacle course but not sure if its like c-1 's course or not. Have also heard that people are sent home from orientation all week.

I don't know about the obsticale course. They didn't have that when I was there. And yes they do send people home all week. If you fail your driving test or lie on your app they will send you packing. They will not even start checking your backgound until you get there. If they find something they will end you home.
