You can feel however you want, I don't care, doesn't change the fact of what's in your pants. I say label bathrooms with innie or outtie.
Hope this isn't too political. Couple weeks ago I read an article from an attendee at the socialist convention in Chicago. Talked about how they are using all the LGBT rights and green crap to break down the family structure to try to gain power.Westbound23, cke, PoleCrusher and 13 others Thank this. -

They are allowed to believe what they believe but we aren't allowed to our beliefs. Isn't it ironic that we let people to their beliefs, most of us don't care what other people do or believe, just go on about your way and leave me out of it, but because we don't believe the way they do we are singled out and ostracized.
Who's the radical one?Lostkeys, Westbound23, cke and 22 others Thank this. -
Alrighty, I'm surprised at how quickly my patience has worn thin.
So situation, I'm about done with my new company. I've been "working" there for almost three months now. I had Monday off, worked 11 hours yesterday and about 9 today. Guess what, I get tomorrow off! Wooo! Gonna get the weekend started early!
Oh wait, I've barely made enough money this week to pay my ####ing bills, let alone do anything else.
I'm now actively shopping. I don't want to work for a company that doesn't use me to my full potential and makes me chase work (I'm supposed to "pester" both Winnipeg and Brandon offices to put me to work). I'm not about that. If you can't use up my 70 in a week, I'm not going to look to other divisions for work and jump around all week long. If you can't fill my schedule out, why did you hire me?
I also started doing the math and I was sold a big mug of Kool-aid from the recruiter. Yeah, it's possible to make $120,000 in a year, but you have to be trained on every commodity and have 15-20 years of seniority to even be offered the work. Plus, my hourly rate is less than my previous company because the trucks are so slow!
Oh well, lesson learned. We've had to dip into our house down payment to pay bills over the past three months and I am NOT happy.
I said to them from the beginning, I wanted to make MORE money than what I was making at my previous job. They told me I'd be so busy during fertilizer and asphalt seasons my head would spin.
Well, I'm not sure what they define as "busy" but I'm already not a fan of "seasonal" outfits and I'm barely three months in. I'm trying to find a place that'll keep me moving all year long so that I can build a future with my wife and hopefully one day support a family on what I make alone so we don't have to pay a small fortune for someone else to raise our children.
Either they've put a bad taste in my mouth, or I just really don't like liquid hauling. I'm not going to even bother giving fuel a shot, because if they treat me like they have already, I'll be the last one they call when the 50 other drivers turn down the run.
I also don't like regional hauls. I'm a long haul guy, body and soul, and both my wife and I agree that I should love what I do. She has already pointed out I'm still not seemingly happy like I was about a year ago.
I'm meeting with a guy tomorrow, a friend I used to work with at my old company, he's working for a family member now who is working on getting a fleet off the ground. Growing pretty quick with what appears to be more O/O drivers than company drivers.
I'm going to stay guarded, because, as it seems, I'm really easily swayed by promises, and I can't afford any more slow weeks. He's said they do Texas and BC lanes and have contract customers. So fingers crossed I like the numbers and the deal.Westbound23, cke, PoleCrusher and 17 others Thank this. -
I took this yesterday going by the national balloon classic. Blow it up and look at the horizon.
