1st thing I do is try and contact the offending driver on the CB. Surprise this one answered me. The ? I ask is "Do u have any kids? would u follow that close if ur kids were in that car?" Depending on the answer or lack of an answer will determine what happens next. (here is where every one will beat me up). if no answer or a response like "u drive urs, I'll drive mine! (expletive deleted), I jot down a truck #, name, or DOT #. The next time I stop, I find the company phone # and let their company know about the offending behavior and potential liability their company is exposed to by letting this driver operate a CMV in such a reckless disregard for safety. I suggest that maybe all this driver needs is a wake up call and he might stop the stupidity. I always tell the company my name and give them my phone # if they doubt my allegation.
I'm sure that my response will ruffle a bunch of feathers, so let the beatings begin!Working Class Patriot, KO1927 and otherhalftw Thank this. -

You know what, imho i think it's just best to mind you own business because to many people try to "do the rigth thing" and end up with probelms. If it's not affecting you in any way why care about it. I do the same thing sometime and there is nothing worse then when somebody gets on the cb and tryes to tell you that was a wrong thing to do when you already mad that the guy in front of you was going slow a hell. I mind my own business unless it has something to do with me when i;m dring other then that i keep trucking and don't mind what other people are doing.

They forget the 100 drivers they passed that are professionals doing their jobs the right, but sure remember the 1 ####### that has no business driving a car, let alone a big truck!
Who was it that said "Evil prospers b/c good men do nothing."?
I think that saying applies in this society today. As long as no one speaks out about incompent, un-professional drivers, how will we ever earn back the public's respect? How will we ever regain the "old-school" title of "Knight's of the Highway"?
Sorry, I'm gonna step off the pulpit now.leannamarie, simplyred1962, JennCTW and 1 other person Thank this. -
