Me? I actually take it at the homefront; wife has eats for me; have parking in my yard...so nothing lost there, actually. Better than OTR food, tbh! Just worked it into the 'new' lifestyle. Took me since last year to learn this #### QC after many years on paper. I still keep paper backups...all day everyday, in case this thing 'breaks' somehow, ya know...?!? ;)

I've driven for just over 50 years. I'd quit from time to time and try other things but I always came back to trucks. For the last thirty years driving has been my major source of income. I have a couple of non-driving side gigs I do but they're mostly to help out family and friends.
I work in the office now or I'll be out in the woods checking on jobs but I still drive occasionally when somebody runs out of hours or needs a day off.
I still have a two year medical so I'll probably keep driving until it quits being fun.

i enjoy what i do. i enjoy visiting the farms seeing the animals and the farmers. i dont even mind hanging with the other drivers at the plant (to an extent, i once spent 8 hours waiting to unload and that sucked). im not really sure why anyone living in western ny would choose to drive OTR. there are so many milk haulers and they all desperately need drivers. its not a terrible gig.

I got my class "A" when I was 17 back in 1982. I started driving local in 1998, and then I went back to an office job. That lasted for about a year and a half, and I started driving regional in 2000. I have left 2 times after that.

I've owned 5 trucks, and have run under my own authority. For the most part I stay out less than a week at a time.
