My oldest sister is an RN at a children's hospital. Sometimes on those late night flights I listen to her come apart then put herself back together. I will say she is truly my hero for what she does and how she does it

I have complete respect for all in the healthcare industry. My wife is a nurse also and works for a dermatology doctor. She will come home and talk about her day, and I try to listen, but GD when she starts talking about cutting this and cutting that and it looked like this or that, I've got to tell her to cut the story short. She can talk that crap and eat at the same time, but homeboy can't.

Pole crusher,a little advice about Daily Express. I was leased to them in 1975,cabover days, spent a few years there, back when Jesse Keen still ran it. OK operation, gained lots of HH experience, but the reason we parted ways, was because of their lower % of pay. Back then, the only trailer you could lease on with them, was a flat, nothing specialized,no step or lowboy. They did have a thriving steel division back then, but everybody did,and everyone was pretty much 75% with their own flat. But the % to pull their trailer, with a machinery load was only 60.2. If you hauled steel, the paid 65%,builing materials was 67%,all with their trailer. Sliding scale for cheaper rated commodities. I bought a new step, and went elsewhere,(All States,PIE),and it worked out for me. Up until a few years ago,I believe they were still paying that cheap % on their trailers hauling machinery. Don't know if you can lease a specialized trailer with them now,but make sure you check their percentages, good luck.

Ahhh yes....another one who had never owned a truck before, heard from the seller it was a good solid truck, didn't even know what engine it had in it, hadn't taken it to a shop to be thoroughly checked out, and was asking " for advice " on if he should buy it. When i said no, he got all pissy because he only wanted a yes.
I'm not irresponsible enough to tell someone to buy as a first truck, one over 30 years old until he knows everything about it, and its gone through a really good shop for a full physical and he has road tested it to. The guy hadn't seen it or driven even, the seller sent him pics and told him how great it is. Those are exactly the type I was talking about. He probably should buy a trailer to.

This one might be advertised for sale soon...probably low mileage to. 059e3f6e97c59be59201353385a0fac9--semi-trucks-big-trucks.jpg
