    Got a load sent to me at 8 am told me that the appointment time was a window of 0700-14 got to basf and the bill says 0700 delivery time.. couldn’t make 1400 but saw that the place was 24 hours was told they could do 1500 got all the way there and the place recieving hours is 0700-1300

    Idk at times I do feel like someone is pulling some strings, I think I’m getting too close to my year lol but I make sure to keep my karma levels high, I was talking with one of the guys I graduated with and he’s pretty much in the same situation as me with the paid training except he now went the Ic choice route and still cant wait to get that year, and he agrees that he sees the same games being played as I do. But the conversation was about looking back in a few years and getting a good laugh at this year cause how comical it’s been.

    Today’s assignment was actually a nice one. Went to marathon in Detroit. Saw just just about every company I put in for there, wanted to walk up and introduce myself to every company but they were getting at the loading rack. Had 3 compartments with 2 being theirs and that pickle suit tried to take me. By the time I finished and got out of it my clothes were drenched almost like I dived in a pool , had to do a full change before I left. Last compartment went too smooth, me and the guy sat around and joked the whole 30 mins. Ran into very little traffic on the way home. They sent me home early too . Got home early Thursday night instead of late on a Friday. Maybe they’re just throwing me a bone

    Yea I was in Gary two weeks and I was talking to some of the drivers it seems like just something they do to the company drivers up in that area

    I can’t speak for all the drivers from that area but it definitely seems like if you have a good enough conversation with em you can finish most of there jokes lol like a 30 year married couple.. for instance everybody’s seen the big billboard that advertise up to 80k on i80 around joliet and everybody asks “who’s making that”,”according to my calculations”. Don’t know how it gets brought up
    But I mean I spoken to atleast 8 ppl about it. Or if you have to go through Chicago don’t go unless you have 5 hours on your clock cause you never know. But if you have to go through and comeback you need a full 14. If you going somewhere in Chicago if you leave 3 hours early you’ll be 3 hours early but if you leave 2 hours early you’ll be 45 mins late lol

    It’s crazy man I brought a load from Georgia up to that basf close to Green Bay and I dropped the tank at the Quala in Chicago and I’m not exaggerating it took me a hour and half to get to the Gary OC from the tank wash

    Oh I bet and it’s like that all the time you didn’t even get into Chicago And that’s why I say don’t go through Chicago unless you have 5 hours or if your getting loaded/unloaded in Chicago you need at least 10. It’s draining to see a local Chicago preassignment cause your going to spend you whole day got 15mph on the highway making 60-80$ for the day

    This thread makes me laugh now cause it shows me im not the only 1 going through schneiders lack of organization. I think ive collected more days of layover pay than actual driving. Im coming up on a year spon too and cant wait to leave. In their defense, i will say the company support is good. It might be slow and disorganized but i never feel like im at it alone when issues arise. I think snbc would be a great company if there was more freight
