back on topic now..... today on WK parkway I hear on the radio I got a full grown about a mile behind me. I got the cruise set at 70 and I am watching my mirrors. Yep, there he is. About this time I hear there is a KSP on the side with a broke down 4 wheeler just ahead of me. As the KSP passes me I see the other one up ahead. I signaled and went to the hammer. I am checking my mirrors for a shot back over to the granny since I am just passing the stopped bear. I look up ahead of me and the bear that just passed me all but stops in the hammer as he is looking to see if the other KSP needs assistance.
I have noticed here lately some of these bears put themselves in jeopardy by not paying attention to what they are doing while they are preocciupied with something else. I saw another bear awhile back sitting in the middle. He was shooting radar and went after his victim. He lost control when he did a flip and almost spun out as he was fish tailing in front of oncoming traffic...![]()

I have always been amazed at how the agencies, who are supposed to enforce the laws, can't even follow them themselves...I guess they actually believe they do own the roads! I was raised to understand that the LEO's were supposed to be the example setters, not the "do what I say, not what I do" types...sorry dieselbear, never seen you behind the wheel so not making any comment about your driving habits! I am just saying for the most part...about 95% LEO's tend not to follow the rules. IMHO! -

You said not to worry about what the traffic is doing. I'm traffic to you, so stop worrying about what I'm doing. -

Seeing an emergency vehicle on the side of the road 'at the last second', isnt the fault of anybody but the driver of the truck. why do i say this? it is because s/he is not looking far enough ahead. You dont look just 100 yards in front of you. Me? i'm looking a mile ahead of me when i can. I'm going to be where i'm looking in a minute, and i want to know what is going on up there before i get there. it isnt like you cant see those flashing lights from a mile away.
dont want to get caught out having to slow down from 60 to 40 just so you can get over??? pay attention to whats down the road.tinytim Thanks this. -
