What's wrong with a felony? never stopped companys from hiring me!
Sometimes you have to take a felony if your not guilty.

Voting does not intrest me. An honest man can go to washington with great intentions, Then...BAM! here come all the people who tells him what he is to do.

I was convicted because I choose not to take a misdemener plea because, I was innocent. I stood up for what was right.
Something you will probally never do.

Even way back when I was a crew boss for Nv Div Forestry, all the Crew members were "innocent". I guess they just needed the job experience that incarceration offered them.:biggrin_25511:

Yeah, you're right. It's just one of the most fundamental rights we as Americans have. Who needs it?

And? If he is a truly honest man, he will stay his course.

"Me thinks the man doth protest too much."

And how would you know? You don't know me, and all I know about you is what you've posted here. You were the one who quoted a post of mine and asked the questions. I gave a couple of smart-alecky answers replete with goofy smileys to convey that it was all in fun, and you respond to that with a personal attack.

Mayhaps I struck a nerve? I brought up felonies in the first place because the other poster was whining that he was having trouble finding work with his particular driving record, claiming that it was "only" one or two things. If he'd done even a cursory search of the forum and/or listened to the driving veterans that answered him, he would've realized that nowadays, "one or two little things" are more than enough for most companies to look elsewhere.

You equate receiving a felony conviction instead of accepting a misdemeanor plea as "standing up for what's right"; well that may be. I wouldn't know as I've never made decisions/choices that have led to my being arrested and having to choose between a "wrong" misdemeanor or a "right" felony.

It's good that you've repaid your debt and have been able to secure employment and become a contributing member to society again. I'm happy for you, truly.

    Good day, sir.

Good deal...be careful out there and don't get anymore of those tickets or accidents.

I am surprised though that they hired you with that on your record.

I suggest you take enough money with you to the orientation to pay for a bus ticket back home.

Recruiters sell the moon. Safety verification makes you pay for it.

Enjoy the road. I hope everything works out for you. Of course I'm sure I don't need to remind you to avoid future tickets. :biggrin_25525:
