Yea that was what caught my eye. Not a drop of grease. That and the weird striping on the right rear inner tire.

    I think 1997... Its section 393.11...

Wisconsin gave me a violation for that several years back...

Yeah it says trucks built after 7/1/97 need it above the mud flaps. Just one more of those trivial things that the boys in blue like to ding guys for.

    FlaSwampRat and Lepton1 Thank this.

I didn't think it was built after it, I know for a fact, when they started that that every trailer had to have it even if it was a 1929 model had to have it. lolI have three trucks that the build date is earlier than that, and I have it on them all, but I am not 100% sure I have to now.

    FlaSwampRat and Oxbow Thank this.

I think im seeing a very worn out 5th wheel plate. Look at the curve on the passenger side edge.. Mine doesnt swoop like that and is where i have to put grease every week.

    FlaSwampRat Thanks this.

Just getting broke in good, it saves on grease. lol

Question for you guys down there, what does a new holland plate run. I am going to need one and I priced them at one place last week, seems to be around 1200. I just wonder how much of that is the Alaska premium. lol

Feedman and Josey Wales Thank this.

    Man i read this
    and I read this
    and I read this

and I still didn't understand. Why would someone need a New Holland part on a tractor trailer? It made zero sense. (you know, blue tractors, New Holland)

Yeah, it finally dawned on me: a new Holland 5th wheel plate.

NZtrucking, D.Tibbitt, misterG and 3 others Thank this.
