Why is the 10.5 mm drill so critical? 13/32 is .406 and change, are the holes tapped?

If I could find a standard hood with the small flat top sleeper like the actual movie trucks I'd snap it up in a heartbeat.

It may not be critical but if Cat says that's the size I want to do it that way. I don't know if it would have any affect on it but I'm not wanting to gamble with anything inside the engine.

Have a niece who, when she was your daughter’s size, went through this stage where she would only talk 1 day every two months. Well, the only people she would talk to is my brother and I. She wouldn’t talk to her mom, or her sisters or grandparents...no one else...but, 1 day every 2 months. Mom told me that she was autistic. My brother’s wife believed she was autistic. My brother told everyone that she was just extremely stubborn.

She had this deep voice, people would kid her parents about her being demonic. My brother warned me not to let her see any of my electronics, like the phone or tablet or let her play on the home PC, because she would change your passcode, download all of her stuff and “forget” the passcode.

One day, the family was out to eat, and my brother’s wife had her hair done up, and those sticks in her hair holding it in place. This greatly upset my niece. She pulled them out. My brother’s wife, fixed her hair and put them back in. My niece pulled them out. Her mom was ticked...she’s threatened my niece with physical harm. “If you do that again, I am going to beat you!”

Little 4 yr old girl with a deep voice trying to reason with her mom, “Mom, those are not hairpins, those are chopsticks and you are not Chinese!”

She’s 10 now. I feel sorry for her teachers. She’s not a bad kid, her mind just works in a different way.

Got reload info for tomorrow. Picking up 12' wide heading back north.

I have no idea what I'm doing (only widelload I ever pulled was from Winnipeg to Oak Bluff) but I'm not afraid to ask here and look like a greenhorn. Do I need lights at night in KS, NE, IA, SD or ND?

I know I need Oversize Load banners, flags front and back and flag markers on furthest points out from trailer.

Nobody has ever taught me this stuff, and while I'm nervous, I want to learn. OD pays really well. I won't have permits till tomorrow, and I'll sleep better tonight knowing what I have to prepare for.

    Thanks all.

Unless they use a reamer that hole is a nominal size, are the holes tapped?

I lost a tractor flap on the I70 somewhere. They are mounted on those bouncy frame things. Truck owner isn't happy because it was brand new a couple weeks ago, but all I can think about is with the roads as terrible as they are in Canada, and having lost a couple the same way already before I got the truck, why are you not converting to a different style hanger?

I never lost a flap, truck or trailer working at my last flat deck company because they used the better mount. I move to two different companies that use the bouncy hangers and I lose two on two separate occasions.

For something that cost that much, and is certain to have people asking questions, one would think there might be a little extra effort put into the finished project.
