Don't go into debt don't borrow money.
Pay yourself first. Always pay yourself first above everything else. Be conservative. ... conserve $$$ for yourself.

A salesman at a Harley Davidson dealer put it well. Said: There is not one single item in this entire building that anyone needs. But they want it all. They buy it. They forego buying what they need, to buy what they want.

I had a thought once. However, it was a long time ago. Now I do not remember what it was.

Back in the 90's when everybody and their dog had harley fever, a banker told me he would rather loan money on a harley than anything else. I ask why and he said people would let their house get repoed to save a harley. lol

I haul cardboard boxes, truck load multi stops. We’ve had this account since 2013. From 2013-16 it was steady, but there were times when we didn’t have enough loads for all drivers and excess drivers helped another account.

This is a major corrugate company. Since 2016, we’ve been busy nonstop. We turn down customers and let customers go all the time because the plant is running 24 hrs at least 6 days a week. We have double the loads most days now. If there is a recession, we sure can’t tell, and boxes would certainly be one of the first to slow down.
