I left there almost 30 years ago, and haven't really missed it. Now, live 35 miles west in Hutchinson.

 

El Paso for the moment. Another crap 4 wheeler load on headed to MI. Be northeasterly bound after a bit.

 

Waste of time and money trying to patch it. Because what happens is the entire innards are getting thinner and weaker. You already said that it's been patched before. If you try patching it, it will just keep springing fresh leaks. Probably at the worst times possible. Get a new one. From a reputable company and be done with it for a long enough time that you will appreciate not having to worry about it. Also pay attention to what @beastr123 said about clogging the other components in the cooling system. He's correct.
