    Well an update on the layover and reschedule of my load on Friday, as always they compensated me above and beyond my expectations. All I can say, is if there is a screw up somewhere, they make it right.

    Parked on an entrance ramp at the NC Tennesse line. I hate doing that but was stuck on the gorge for almost an hour while my clock wasted away. There are NO "no parking" signs here so maybe the finest will let me spend the night here. I got 37 minutes back after my second 30 minute break, but its after 8pm and I can't make it to West Knoxville let alone Strawberry Plains. Hard to find parking at this hour anywhere.

    Got a short run out of Rome, Ga. going to Hickory, NC, currently waiting to get unloaded.I only ran two short trips this week, but made enough to cover my fixed costs, fuel and put a little cash in the bank. I’m 49 miles from the house, should be home no later than 1300 and then off for 12 days.

    We will be driving down to Miami Friday and boarding our cruise ship Saturday morning for our 7 day cruise, can’t wait.

    Well, all went well, the Troopers left me alone and two other trucks joined me so we all got decent sleep on the entrance ramp of TN x451. Dropped my load in Plainfield, going after a load in Hobart IN, in the morning going to Shelby IA which delivers Friday, but I can make it there tomorrow. At the new Pilot x201 on I 65 in Remington IN.
