Sounds like you’ve been there. No need to ask.

Thank you so much for the awesome reply! I got the email with the itinerary this morning. Your post makes me feel better because I know what to expect. The only thing I'm worried about is shifting... I hope they understand I'm a little rusty.
If you're willing to answer more questions (if not, no problem): Are the road tests done with a group, or is it just you and the tester in the truck? How many people were in your group? -
you and the tester. they dont cram everyone into a truck. this isnt a otr company. just dont go there with a otr attitude. go with a open mind and wanting to learn more. ask them stuff like. what could i do better or what would you do or wouldnt do. they believe heavy on telling the truth, doing whats right, and not stealing. they send more guys home for knowing it all(TA ROUND TABLE STYLE)
-
Actually, I do need to ask. I haven't seen a mini truck driving school in my short time with Walmart..so yea, I'm genuinely interested in knowing where it's at.
-
no they are not testing at the dc's anymore. sending all the new hires to one place. after that they report to the dc they are working out of. they will drive with a trainer for two weeks.
-
Do you share a Hotel room or does each driver have their own room?
-
just go to the event. dont worry about the stuff. if you do or dont. you will be okay. just give it your very best.
-
You have your own room. Also, when you are out driving with your mentor back at the DC (after you complete onboarding), you will be put up in a hotel each night...you’re own room. At least that’s how they do it at 6830.
