Speaking of them my interstates are at least 5 years old or 6. Guess I better go look in my book. Might be best to change before winter. But that Delco 39mt starter seem to be rather easy on batteries. With that said summer heat is when most batteries fail.

Having picked up freight for 3 years at the local Exide plant I can tell you that they have made batteries for John Deere, Interstate, Auto Zone, etc....they build them to the customer's specs and put the customer's labels on them. So the big brands are made by different companies and/or locations and not all are created equal.Al. Roper, peterbilt_2005, ShooterK2 and 13 others Thank this. -
Who ever made the OEM ford and A/c delco batteries used to be great. Now the A/c come from china and good for 5 years at best. Dont know about the ford ones.
