I’ll let @johndeere4020 and @jamespmack both in on a secret. Back in his prime, a guy from Arkansas would haul 60k coils across the scales with the chains loose. He could hit the brakes just right and bring the weight to the drives. Then ease into the throttle as the rear spread crosses and shift the weight perfectly. He called it the Razorback shuffle.
He would set a pitcher of sweet tea on the doghouse and judge the momentum by the way the liquid was moving. Then he would find a pull off spot and tighten the 20 chains back up and ride.
