They are I agree that’s why I take what they say with a grain of salt and do my own research and ask people. And I love the truck don’t get me wrong but I can’t see myself spending that kind of money on a hunk of plastic freightshaker.
Perfect truck but day cab. Is conversion worth it?

Im kinda strong on this concept, its a nice truck but not perfect yet. And I have spent time in sleepers smaller than 36 too many times to count. -

Yeah, sounds nice, but I'd hold out, there are so many trucks out there. It can be done, just sounds like a hassle, and those conversions never go smoothly.

Is it a factory daycab or was it converted? If it's a factory daycab I wouldn't mess with it.
My truck started life with a 63 in stand-up. I pulled the sleeper and made it a daycab. Few years later I put a sleeper back on.. guess what it's a daycab again now...TruckerTW Thanks this. -
Im a bit biased on this in that I despise Pererbilts, but that's just me. I'd keep that one as a second option(though it will sell quickly) and continue to look for exactly what you're after. They're out there. It's a 2006, so it's an Acert. We've had more than a few 05/06 Acert's and they were problem children. We have one left, it's been worked over by a shade tree shop, and it so far has been good. But it's only got 100k on it. The rest have been sold, and every one has been rebuilt, all at under 800k miles.
Although, I will admit, a 379 with a coffin sleeper can be pretty sweet looking.Dino soar Thanks this. -
