I doubt that Webster will consider your opinion of much value. Confusion is a big part of the life of people whom don't identify with the gender they were born. Who or what they are leads to all kinds of confusion, but that confusion is not the cause of their dilemma, it is however a product of circumstance and lack of proper support and guidance, which leads to a huge problem leaving them in the terribly awkward position of dealing with and overcoming a lot of bias and ignorance.

5C63D7BA-2415-4F84-9373-7A7FA7EC3D28.jpeg I always try to look professional(Profile pic) when I am driving and going to my stops if it’s chilly I’ll be wearing my custom hoodie lol. I also wear my company trucker hat or beanie if it’s cold. I do agree that a lot of the OTR drivers I see these days look sloppy at best. Especially the ones delivering to the Walmart’s(Not actually Walmart drivers).

Now here's a good example of Joe Flipflop pulling up to the guard shack and getting out to talk with the guard.

Looks like a real professional - don't he?

I probably shouldn't be picking on a fellow driver for his appearance but to me, he really looks like a bum...

Boots, jeans, hat! Even got the belt! Check, he's a professional truck driver!

Or at least according to the guys complaining on here who judge by clothing.

Not really fair to make fun of a guy's body btw. Weight and diet is a bugger for a lot of people.

Anyone remember Purple Cow Trucking out of Florida?
One of their drivers wore women's clothes and shoes, but no one messed with him; he was a tough guy.
Some of us don't really care about all that; just do our job and take care of our families. Sure, we notice those things, but brush it off and move on.

While checking in at a chemical plant a couple of weeks ago in Florida, a dry van driver got really ticked off because they would not let him in wearing gym shorts, flip flops and a tank top. He said he has been driving for years and NEVER heard of such a thing!!!
    We got a good laugh.:D

This picture has been floating around social media as long as TTR has been around. Making fun? Not hardly. I use this picture as incentive, for me to never get anywhere like that.

Sad isn't it? That guy really has a problem -- doesn't he? Though I think it's a little unfair to use that guy as an example of what a driver should or should not look like. The fact is, his huge belly is NOT the point. But you're correct in pointing out that at least his dress code conforms to more of a traditional look for a truck driver.
