Remember laughter is the best medicine. And it’s only $8.99 a month with your co-pay if you have Blue Cross Blue Shield. Can they say that in other countries????

    Balancing act:

1.) Had a good friend of mine that had a lovely wife. Sweet girl. He and I worked together at a construction company, I drove the lowboy and I trained him up on driving and helped him get his class b and drive a dump truck. Anyways, whenever I went by his house, his wife would always ask me my opinion on her clothes. Like I said, she was a looker. Well, it struck me as unnatural eyeballing another guy’s wife and I’d ask her with him there why doesn’t she ask her husband.

“But Six, HE DOESN’T CARE what I wear.”

    And he would confirm.

Well, they were married for 10 years and she stepped out on him and they got divorced, and he blamed her.

2.) Had a buddy of mine that started dating this black girl. I asked him what was he doing for the weekend and he told me that he was going to her place and watch ‘Diary of a Mad Black Woman.’ WTF?

Is that something that you would normally watch?

    “No.”

Then why are you going to watch it?

“She wants to introduce me to black culture.”

She’s racist. You’re not dating black culture, you’re dating her. I would decline. You should never change who you are to date someone. That’s a mistake. It’s a sign of weakness in a Man.

Well, he went anyways. A short time later, she broke up with him because she couldn’t get past the racial differences.

Anyways, so what should you do? If clothes shopping isn’t your thing, it isn’t your thing. However, if she wants you to look at her, she’s needing some attention. Give mama some attention. Never ever say to her, “I don’t care.” Confused?

A horizontal stabilizer (tail). From the looks of the tooling it appears to be Bombardier but without a closeup of the tooling number I can't say for sure or which model.

Confused? You know where you can put your analogies?

First of all Buckwheat, who the hell are you to be telling me how to deal with my wife? What I should and shouldn't say to her? What the hell do you know about me and my wife's relationship? Your experiences don't equal everyone else's!!!

Yes, I'm confused. I'm confused on how this got from me not wanting to go shopping because I don't like to, to her possibly running out on me because of that.

I never said I didn't care what she bought or wore, I just don't want to be there when she buys it. Is it just me or does that not sound boring as hell to spend all day in women's clothing sections.

She doesn't like/want to go fishing or hunting or to the races when I go but that doesn't mean I go looking for a woman that does.

How in the hell did we get here anyway? Why am I explaining myself to you? It was meant to be humorous! SMH!!!

And BTW, she doesn't want me there with her anyway because she knows what a PIA I would be.

Go talk to one of these mega drivers or young kids that looks like a bobblehead nodding at everything you say in these restaurants you go to. Don't come here and think a bunch of grown men are going to bow down to all your crap!

Get a friggin sense of humor.........Lonesome Rhodes!

Maybe I'll go find stwik, WTH!!!

I understand where your coming from completely, I’ve been here a long time and I can tell you this place used to be better than it is. There’s a lot of nonsense here now but I stay because this is my only social media and it’s a nice distraction from life sometimes. There is a lot of wiener measuring and a lot of bellyaching from a supposeded group of “men” who fancy themselves as men who are self sufficient and a cut above but then when challenged act like a baby. You’re a young man but from what I’ve seen you’re a good kid with a bright future that does understand humor and doesn’t take himself to seriously, I appreciate it. I don’t blame you for leaving and you’re welcome back whenever as far as I’m concerned.

I wondered that myself, I took it as a humorous anecdote about a husband and wife. My wife does many things without me for the very reason you listed, I’m a pain in the butt if I go. She has zero desire to go to a trick or tractor show and I have zero desire to go to the mall or the salon but I don’t feel my marriage is in jeopardy. Stwick might be right.

Unfortunately till @stwik has his 15-11 OD qualification card I can't send him anywhere. As for Hollandaise, haven't had time to cook anything more complicated than a chicken breast in the Instant Pot for a month now.

    @stwik

As you know, JD just returned after a long hiatus. He was pretty bummed after they banned his mentor @Humblepie. He said chicken wings had lost their flavor, and DEF had lost its pungency. Unfortunately his health care doesn't cover therapy. Here is what he said worked.

    1. Each night for a month he sat in the dark and listened to Carly Simon records.
    2. He went to a holistic healer and had his chakras adjusted.
    3. Nightly oatmeal baths and a cup of hot hibiscus tea before bed.
    4. He substituted wings for Cucumber water and kale salads.
    5. And finally, he sets his alarm to wake him up to "Africa" by Toto. Something about the phrase "I bless the rains down in Africa" keeps him centered.

    I hope this helps.
