That's good. I had a cat warranty that I used once before it expired. Had a cam go bad and took out injector. Saved quite a bit of money.

Saw on another thread looking for trailer. You might be able to find one under 35k around here but would probably be used. Timpte has a super lite ,low side trailer, for around 43k. Supposedly weighs around 8,000 lbs.
Threre have been some van truckers switching over to hoppers last few years. -
The one in Grand Island is no better either.
Our guy is expensive, but at least when you go down the road, you know that its been done right. -
I agree with you on the one in Wichita... I don't ever go there. That outfit owns three in kansas and quite a few in Nebraska.
I'll gladly pay a little more to get the job done right the first time.bullhaulerswife Thanks this. -

It doesn't have to be new. I may need to just rent one, or buy one if I can, but I'm extended right now and it's taking a big hit on my rating. Everything is still paid up as agreed, but I don't have a lot of breathing room on my limits. -
Understand the situation isn't unusual for truckers or anyone right now. I'm not sure I would rent from Esclipse but I don't think you were. If that's your only option I would probably do it.
As DD said might be able to find individual selling one cheap but it is usually hard. Hoppers are selling pretty well right now especially because of wheat and fall crops. Best time to look is winter.PharmPhail Thanks this. -

Have they gone up that much lately? We bought a 41'x66" Wilson last April, all aluminum wheels, air ride, stainless rear end, and it was under 35K. I picked it up in Souix City myself, but I think with what they'd charge to deliver it to me, it still would have come in at just under 35. I think it weighs around 8500#. We don't have the expensive light weight stuff, aluminum king pin plate, subframe, etc. I'm not quite sold on that stuff for the extra $$$ it costs.
I agree with Wheathauler, in July and August, its a seller's market for grain trailers. -
