so long story short I ended up heading to get some work done on the truck.
I was backing up and it kicked itself into drive instead of R and almost caused me to smash into another trailer (I ended up with two inches between and boy did it startled me) I was cursing up a storm to the smart drive.
Now dispatch pulled the load off me, and my pre plan. Last time I had terrible miles for a week or two. Is this just the way things are or have I made the bad list?
I’m just not driving the truck anymore if I can’t count on it doing like it’s supposed to. It was real fun backing across two lanes of traffic and it kicking itself out of reverse ever 2 seconds.
Crap list for repairs

Truckers have a bad habit of thinking it's all about them.

Because, while the squeaky wheel does get grease(d), you've surely seen how some mechanics will over grease at times. You might get more mile, like you want, and you might get more than you can handle. If you're unable to run all the miles they push on you, you're now further down the 'black list'.FlaSwampRat Thanks this. -
I was fine till this truck started getting bad.
Back up across two lanes of traffic but it kicks out of fear randomly. That’s a #### party right there. -
Why are you still in a defective truck. Write it up and send it to a shop or have it towed to one.
