Ya, I just received a call from the new benefits lady... the young lady that just moved from Dispatch to Benefits... I guess I owned the company some $90 from when I left... for that Legal Guard Benefit and some other benefit... so now they come calling for it... I had to laugh.

Seriously, you had a Driver return to your company... and then nine months after he returns, you hit him up for $90???

I mean, I will certainly pay it if I owe it... but thinking it’s hard enough to find and retain drivers, just write it off as he is back and making money for the company... lol

She offered $30 deduction over three pays... I laughed and said, let’s make this easy on Accounting, just take it from my next check and be done.

I sure hope our Accounts Receivables are not aged out 33 months... LOL

 

Question:

I ran from Reno to Oregon today... was on I-5 in NoCal... the last 60 miles or so both my GPS and the MM signs changed from the 700s to 1-60 or something... BUT the Exits all still used the 700 numberings...

What’s up with that???

 

I did that run but took 395 north and if there is a next time I won’t do that again!
About the numbers I just can’t recall seeing that.

 

Just a heads up!
This morning I'm driving through Arizona and come up to the DOT big sign warning all drivers on I-40... "Escape Prisoners" (Yes plural) in possible red Chevy..." Stay safe every one.

Dose prisoners actually escaped according to DOT in a “Red GMC Truck... license plate 127XTY.
Maybe there already across the border!
