Not really. I would keep them in a box after you take em. Maybe swing by a dealer and see if anyone old enough to remember those things. IF you can get educated, maybe come back here and tell us it's a very vital part to the truck or not.

I spent too much time working my favorite big horse Detriot. I hope that there Big cam is everything you want it to be.

That's it. Ether we just fed into the air can and the oil water etc.. was taken care of by a farting bendix behind my sleeper on left under catwalk frame rail.

Is there a way to know if that either injector is still good? If it is good how do I refill it?

Should there be a switch somewhere inside of the truck?

All you got is the key, engine start switch and the key controls the ACC when engine start switch is either running or engine off. I do not recall anywhere on that dash any means to remotely feed ether. We just grabbed a spray can and gave it some sniff through it's air breathing can on the outside of the cab.

Spin a new can on it. Most add on systems had a push button similar to a starter button. Should be a simple 12vdc solenoid to open the valve and spray.

Check out Zero start for more info. I dont imagine a new kit would be terribly expensive.

I must readjust one of my thoughts.

In the old Macks and other older Iron, there used to be a sort of a coffee can with a hose to it and from, engine oil spun off the gunk in it. I never had to touch the thing in my time but that was something I recall as keeping a eye on.

That was probably set up from the drip tubes on the 2-stroke Detroit.

It was kind of like a collection can.

A healthy engine don't need ether.
