I mentioned you to someone that wasn't him and I had his number but apparently didn't save it. I do appreciate that brother! When I get back out there I'll try and catch up with Ya' so we can find a spot to tear up some BBQ!

Oh I know that Sir. But there ain't no wedding around here with "few drunks". I dont care how uppity it is, normally you will find Blue Tasties.

I want to get a nice pair of "Western" boots (typically referred to as "cowboy boots" up here). My wife looks at me funny when I say this to her. But aesthetically, I want to look the part of a truck driver when out on the road (long sleeve pattern collared shirt tucked into jeans and a ballcap), and I don't want to have to tie and untie my boots every time I get in and out of the truck.

And I don't want to buy a "cheap" pair and have them wear out in 6 months (I go through shoes really quickly), but my budget isn't necessarily super-high either. I also have no idea where to start shopping or what to look for in brands. Any suggestions?

The “Western” style isn’t my flavor personally. It just looks too arrogant and pretentious IMHO.

If I were in your position I would go this route.

I got a pretty good idea who you spoke to, I won’t comment any further on a public form.

Rewire a bunch of stuff. The digital one had one big round plug with about 20 wires in it. Fortunately I got the schematics from Pete, and the wires are numbered.

    I like that. Link?

I'm not big into the ostentatious stitching on the sides of the Western style, more just the shape of the boot, the brown leather and the "pull-on" nature of it.

And I don't necessarily want safety toes either.

Gotta be pretty simple even if you have to tap into speedo harness.
