They're predicting an "Arctic Roller " for this winter. Whatever that is. But the thread is usually kinda of fun with pics of some us in snow well over the trailer lol.

The first time I went, I said, "This really sucks! I'm not doing anything to come back here again."

The second time, I said, "######!"

The other day at the Peelot in Dalton, GA. I used the squeegee to wash the piss off my tires. Then I threw it and the bucket in the parking lot and left.

Nobody seemed to want to call me out on it.

You peed on your tires then used the squeegee at the fuel island to wash them. Then you were angry at the squeegee.

    What am I missing?

No, apparently when I get my truck washed, other people who drive ####ty Freightliner Cambodias are jealous. They feel they have to dump their whole 75 gallon stash of piss out the window on my truck to make themselves feel better.

So instead of killing them and leaving the bodies in the back row, I wash my tires with the squeegee and try to see if I can make the front page of Twisted Truckers.

Lol i was up in minnesota last january -29 outside with-70 wind chill . my company disabled high idle. Ipulled my breaks I watch my coolant temperature gauge go from 200 to 125 or so in about 20 seconds. I said oh man its gonna be a long night. After about 45 minutes it felt somebody had the ice cold ac on except the heat was on full blast. I got up every 30 minutes to press fuel pedal down for 20 minutes to warm up so i could get enough heat for 30 mins or so. Did that all night it was miserable. Next day it was still -29 and i had the pleasure of throwing 2 , 8ft drop tarps . it took 30 minutes to get them out of my aluminum side box because they were frozen solid LOL 6 hours later i was done tarping , oh man ill never forget those 2 days.

"Arctic Roller" is the phenomenon we had last winter. It is predicted to become normal. In the last 100 years or so the Arctic cold air mass would stay above Greenland, et al. "Rollers" happen when warm air masses run north and disrupt the cold Arctic air. Instead of a singular mass of cold air in the Arctic region it splits off into two or three cold air masses that descend south into Canada and the US, or into Europe, or Siberia. Last winter a warm air mass moved rapidly north from Morocco, disrupting the Arctic air mass and creating three cold air masses descending into the aforementioned regions.

It seems this global warming thing has unexpected byproducts. Weather models predicted this phenomenon.
