Little things create big problems...... I had a clamp let go on one of my air to air boots a while back while in a hard pull, anyone that has knows that sound.

Thought for sure I lost another one tonight while pulling on a grade, got over the top and had to go about a mile or so to find a decent place to get on the shoulder. I jumped out and tilted the hood and as I did I heard the rpm’s increase and keep increasing..... long story short.... turbo let go and pumped oil into the intake and she went for a moonshot, knowing the potential end results “cast iron shower” I got away from it after I hit close to 3000 rpms! Needless to say it pumped the oil pan dry and eventually slowed to a total stop as the crank seized up...... time for a out of frame if the block is usable. Setting on 79 waiting for a tractor to get my trailer, wrecker be here in the morning for my truck.....

 

Decided to scratch the veggies...we do like a little pea salad...
