Yikes, I can't believe someone spent that much money on an MX-13!

I wouldn't trust a '10-'15 MX if my life depended on it. That things probably seen a DPF cleaning more than once already, and if it's from BC, will be having serious emissions control issues in the near future. Those sensors don't like to stay working, especially when being bathed in salt.

Nice truck visually but hard to think it's even worth pursuing for 10-20k less than asking.

But then again, at that time, Paccar's engine options were limited to ####ty (MX) and ####tier (ISX). So you can't blame a guy for trying.

Oh this wait for a reload thing kills me. After looking at the distances and knowing that even if I picked up earlier today I likely wouldn't be delivering till Monday (unless they are open weekends), I've just reserved myself to enjoy the trip (if it ever starts).

No point in pushing it and risking injury (if it's tarped) or a collision just because I want to get home faster (more so my wife wants me home faster, but still).

I'm guessing they gave him the ticket to avoid an argument with the vegans at the government office.

She deserved everything she got for standing in the trucks way.

If you have a problem with the livestock/meat industry, protest with your government representative, send them letters, get petitions signed, etc. Don't get in the way of a man just trying to do his job and put food on his table.

Inconveniencing him doesn't get you listened to, it just gets you laughed at.

@beastr123 little better? I apologize for the lighting. The bungee is knotted now.

I intended to take off 3 inches but ended up with 3.5 because my knife didn't go the way I wanted it to and cut in a small curve.

I was trying to be 6 inches flat because I hear Texas will pull out a measuring tape during an inspection, but it's close enough.

That all said, I also discovered with the first cut that over tightening the bolts isn't a good idea, since it crushes the rubber and it cracks. I may have lost it in the next couple days had I not decided to fix it now.

I always greatly appreciate the fountain of knowledge and advice this place is. I would have figured this all out in my own, but I likely would have made more mistakes as I went.

The ISX is a far superior engine to the MX, the after treatment was problematic but there’s nothing wrong with that engine. They built it for most of 20 years it’s a solid platform

I think I'd have to fight it. Shes in a lane of traffic not a cross walk. If they dont drop it sue the city and individual.
