Dont know the gentleman, but it is a nice working outfit. Little dirty like all of are trucks in line.

 

Some days I sure wish it was further forward than it is.

 

I gotta say for 600 bucks just about any truck could have cruise control and, it is a real stress reliever. I use cruise to maintain speeds through towns and, speed zones in addition to the highway. I get the minimalist thing but, really this is like 4 wires.

 

Getting empty then home bound.

 

Working hard today.

Coming back down 55 south around Duck Hill Mississippi today and this Uhaul truck pulling a Uhaul trailer passes me. About 500 feet later, his left rear tire blows out. Within half a mile, his hub has flames shooting out, he pulls over.

I stopped behind him figuring he didn't have anything, and he didn't. I used my extinguisher and put it out. I guess its a good thing I was running late today because of the flat tire they left me.

The moral of the story is: if you don't do post trips, your laziness may unintentionally save a Uhaul truck from burning down.
