    Hello everyone,

We have a 2012 Freightliner Cascadia. DD15 engine, last 8 vin is CSBE1267. There is refrigerant leaking from the spot I circled in the picture(from a random website) even we changed the compressor and the seal inside the hose connecting to the compressor twice. I don't understand what else could be wrong. Does anybody have the part number for the oring inside. I want to make sure I put right one in. And torque spec? I also attached a youtube video of replacing the AC compressor so you guys can see the oring inside. But seriously, I am so frustrated because it has run out 3 times and it probably would not last few more days until it breaks again. Any thoughts?

    Thank you!

Video picture(I don't know why I can't browse youtube now, so I just did a screen shot, and it is the first video)

You might be able to go to FL and buy a part number.

Or take it to any auto parts store and match it up.

The o rings are green. And they need to be oiled before installation. With pag oil. Which is also dyed with green.

If you're doing the work yourself. And not oiling those seals. They tear with the installation process.

There shouldn't be any trick to finding new seals. They're pretty standard and can be found at any parts stores. Or even a radiator shop. Or find a kit online. Probably off amazon.

The A/C line could have a hairline crack in it.

there are special seals on lines under bracket. freighter has them . don't waste your time by searching them in auto part stores. these seals are used on your truck.

The mechanic installed for us, I did not see that he used pag oil. Will double check with him. Thank you!

Wait a second, when you install ac compressor, do you also need to feed them with pag oil? or it contains the oil it self. Because I did not see the mechanic add any oil to the system, all he add is the refrigerant.

I gave you 3 p/n. they have different sizes. all of them are for your truck. you cant use them wrong because of sizes. 2 of them goes on compressor lines.
