ATTN: To all that read this. My name is Winston im 24 and looking to get my start in the industry. I have no means to pay for trucking school so im looking just for any company that will take me. I am really interested in flatbed trucking. I am open to any and all runs, so otr is no problem for me. Im having difficulty with two things. I have been convicted of a felony in 2015 and just got released so I have a 3 year employment gap. Also I am on parole but they are willing to give me my travel permits for a job. So if anyone has any info they could share id be greatful.

The state of Ohio will probably pay for cdl school through the WIOA Program. Google: WIOA Program Ohio. Also, contact private cdl schools in your area and ask if they can help with being hired with PI&I Motor Express.
PI&I Motor Express hires newly released felons and in the past has worked with cdl schools in their recruiting process.
Here's some photo's of PI&I Motor Express trucks. One of their terminals is in Masury,Ohio

Which city/town are you in or near in Ohio?
Also, PI&I Motor Express drivers are Teamsters Union, so you'll have good benefits and be vested for a pension in 5 years.

Since you were incarcerated you’re covered and able to fill the gap.

Probably Western Express. They have a flatbed division. But for the love of the flatbed gods, when someone teches you how to secure a tarp, pay attention. If you're out somewhere and another flatbedder is around and you have a question, ask and see if they can help ya.

As long its not a excessively massive theft felony you are fine. Many felons get going doing trucking.

Ohio State Programs will be more than happy to pay your Trucking, or something else should they discover a aptitude in your tests provided.

Arkansas examined me carefully in 2003 they did a very good job in assessment.

Should Ohio invest in you and your CDL A, you will find a range of trucking companies that offer what you like. Flatbed, reefer, dry van, tanker in particular... some of it is really easy... and profitable and so on.
